Mount Kelud ~ (maybe new climbing area)~ Indonesia

On January 2' 2009, we went to Kediri, to check out some cliff. Someone told me that Mount Kelud have nice cliff.

Mount Kelud is 1 of an active volcano about 1 hour car ride from Kediri , it takes around 3 hours from Surabaya~East Java. It also have a very beautiful view, cold weather, nice hikes, and it will become a new Crack Climbing Area.

Last Sunday, it's the first time at Surowiti cliff 10 people climbed., they are Maman, Erwin, Rosit, Ringgo, Coco, Dodik, Mengo, Eman, Me and 1 person from Sleme's Climbing Wall.
These time some of them try our new route such "Anas", "Double V", "Breadfruit", "Kuma Paws" and "Big Mac Direct".
All of the routes its pretty hard route, BUT 2 route is around 5.11 or even 5.12.

Surowiti - Gresik - East Java

Eman, Rosit, Maman, Erwin and me climb Surowiti cliff. Eman bolted three new routes on the second wall. we already name it the 2 routes the first name is "Kuma Paws" and "Big Mac Direct". These two routes i think is the 4rd hardest routes on that cliff, it's around 5.12 to 5.13.
